They are great for handling hit grill grates, and you can pick up white hot coals with zero burn. However, don't try to pick utensil out of those coals as the back of the glove is some type of material that melts. The back of the glove is NOT extreme heat resistant. This was my fault, but I think you need to make it more clear that only the palm and fingers can safely endure extrem heat.

I purchased three sets of the gloves for my husband, son, and son-in-law. They loved them. They all have smokers and barbecues and knew instantly how useful they would be with outdoor cooking and the handling of hot trays and surfaces. A hit!

Much better than the last pair of no-name gloves I ordered from Amazon. I could comfortably handle ripping hot grates and grill baskets without feeling a thing. Will use these till they wear out, then buy another pair!
Bought these for my husband as a gift. He'd been using another mail-order brand guaranteed up to 450 degrees but the problem was when he'd bring the cast iron from the grill outside, in to our kitchen. By the time he'd reach the kitchen the heat was coming through the gloves. With his new Rescue Grill gloves this doesn't happen so it's much safer and more comfortable by far, for him. We first ordered the grill brush and he loves that as well. Thank you!

Received the grillrescue and one was broken. After contacting the seller and sending a picture of the broken pad I have not received any response except for a message stating the message had been received. This is not a very good way to do business. The problem should have been taken care of.
They work exactly as advertised. Great dexterity. I used them for flipping the smoke tube on my smoker and felt nothing. My son got these for me on Father’s Day after me constantly burning myself. Not anymore!!
